If I don't have a Internet connection, I cannot see my email. Access is refuse. I HATE this.

I'm regularly in a situation where I don't have a link. I wish to be able to read and respond to my emails and send them when ever I have a internet connection.

In other word, I want to be able to work even if I'm off-line so to speak, like I use to be able to do with previous version of outlook.

Also I totally dislike that my email be in the cloud. I want them to be on my computer or server only. Can we disable this "cloud" function ?

Are you using Exchange Online or Exchange Server?

I don't know what that mean. How can I verify this?

    Thank you,

    Yves

    Hi,@Yves JULIEN

It's nice to hear back from you.

To set up Outlook for offline use, you can follow these general steps (the specific instructions might vary slightly depending on your version of Outlook):

    1. Open Outlook and go to the "Send / Receive" tab.
    2. Look for the "Work Offline" button. Clicking this will switch Outlook to offline mode.
    3. In offline mode, you can still access your emails that have been previously downloaded, and you can write new emails which will be sent once you're back online.User's image

Regarding the question “Are you using Exchange Online or Exchange Server?”, do you build your own mail system?
