Hi @IniobongNkanga-8038 ,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with Outlook. Here are a few steps you can take to try to resolve these issues:
#Disappearing Emails
- Sometimes emails may appear in unexpected folders like Spam, Junk, or Deleted Items. Be sure to check these folders.
- Use the search bar in Outlook to find emails. Sometimes emails get moved or archived unexpectedly.
- Make sure no filters are hiding your emails. Go to View > View Settings > Filters and make sure no filters are applied.
- Check if there are any rules set up that may be moving your emails. Go to File > Manage Rules and Alerts.
#Attachment Issues
- Make sure your Outlook is up to date. Sometimes, updates fix bugs related to attachments.
- A stable internet connection is required to download attachments1.
- Try to preview an attachment before downloading it.
- Sometimes, antivirus software may block attachments. Temporarily disable it to see if that fixes the issue.
- Clearing Outlook's cache can sometimes resolve attachment issues. Go to File > Options > Advanced > Outlook Data File Settings > Compact Now.
Please feel free to contact me for any updates. And if this helps, don't forget to mark it as an answer.
Best,
Jake Zhang
