Hello,

Please i need your help on this issue.

I just sent an e-mail on Outlook that I spent 45 minutes working on. This was the first one in my mailbox, and then it disappeared.

I thought this was originally in my Sent Items, but it turns out it's completely gone, and the intended recipient hasn't received this email. I'd like an explanation.

Are you using Outlook desktop client?

If so, close the client and then check via using Outlook Web App (OWA) to see whether you can find that disappeared email.

    Hi @IniobongNkanga-8038 ,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with Outlook. Here are a few steps you can take to try to resolve these issues:

    #Disappearing Emails

    1. Sometimes emails may appear in unexpected folders like Spam, Junk, or Deleted Items. Be sure to check these folders.
    2. Use the search bar in Outlook to find emails. Sometimes emails get moved or archived unexpectedly.
    3. Make sure no filters are hiding your emails. Go to View > View Settings > Filters and make sure no filters are applied.
    4. Check if there are any rules set up that may be moving your emails. Go to File > Manage Rules and Alerts.

    #Attachment Issues

    1. Make sure your Outlook is up to date. Sometimes, updates fix bugs related to attachments.
    2. A stable internet connection is required to download attachments1.
    3. Try to preview an attachment before downloading it.
    4. Sometimes, antivirus software may block attachments. Temporarily disable it to see if that fixes the issue.
    5. Clearing Outlook's cache can sometimes resolve attachment issues. Go to File > Options > Advanced > Outlook Data File Settings > Compact Now.

Please feel free to contact me for any updates. And if this helps, don't forget to mark it as an answer.

    Best,

    Jake Zhang
