Pointer not on sign in Windows 11

When starting windows 11 I get the following.

windows DATE AND TIME with lake background

NO POINTER

i have recharged my mouse No pointer

replaced my mouse with a wired one. No pointer

i need help

    Hi Colin,

    Thanks for your post. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Please try the following steps and check if it helps. Click Start> Settings > Devices > Select Mouse > click on Additional mouse options > Open the Pointer Options tab > Uncheck the option "Hide the mouse pointer while typing" > click Apply then OK to save changes. Now, check whether the mouse cursor appears this time. Let me know if this works.
