RemoteApp with Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Mac

Hi,

I am trying to get the Microsoft Remote Desktop client for Mac to open different RemoteApp connections in different sessions on the same RDS server.

My use case involves clicking on an RDP file that configures a RemoteApp connection, and I need that RemoteApp connection to always open in a new session on the RDS server. The problem is that each time I run an RDP file it is opened by the same Remote Desktop client instance that has already been running, and not by a new instance.
It is also a RemoteApp feature that when a new RemoteApp connection is started from the same client instance that is already running a RemoteApp connection on the same RDS server, the new remote application will start within the same RDS session as the original RemoteApp connection instead of a new one - even if the username in the RDP file is different.

Is there a way to force the Microsoft Remote Desktop client for Mac to open RDP files in different instances of the client? Or otherwise make it always open subsequent RemoteApp connections in a new RDS session on the server, instead of running them within the original RDS session?

Thanks!
Jonatan
