Hello,

I will preface that i am all new to this.

I recently built Archlinux VM using hyper-v. I have been having issues since connecting it to the internet that steam will start throwing errors such as "content not available" "no connection" and other random errors.

I previously managed to fix this on W10 by creating an internal switch and sharing my wifi network to the virtual eth created. I have now upgraded to W11 and the original fix does not work. I am running a wifi connection as i have a friend with a similar setup that is running no issues however he is on a wired connection.

If this is the irelevant forum please direct me to the correct one.

Thank you.

    Hi Adam,

Thanks for your post. Generally speaking, your virtual machines will need a virtual network to share a network with your computer. You can follow the guide to create a virtual switch to connect to the Internet:

    Best Regards,
