We recently upgraded our active directory domain controller and upgraded all workstations to Windows 11 (6 months ago). We use Redirected Folders for people's Desktop, Documents, etc. All that has been working fine, but there is a problem we recently discovered.
We have a Windows 11 workstation named COMMON. It's named that because if someone is unable to use the workstation in their office for some reason, they can log onto COMMON, have their Desktop, and do their job. We've not had to use that contingency for a while, but earlier this week we did. A user logged onto COMMON, but the normal Desktop did not show. I checked the properties on the Desktop folder and the location showed as C:\Users\joe, not the normal \mail.hprs.local\Users\joe. I had other users try and same thing. This used to work before the upgrade. How can I fix this?
