New Azure VM RDP login displays powershell cant close to get to desktop

Created a new Azure VM for first time. Can RDP and login to the public IP. Set SConfig to not run, Powershell console stays open cant exit and get to desktop

    Hi,

    Have you tried the following exact command?

    Set-SConfig -AutoLaunch $false

    Sounds like you installed core edition of the OS. If you were looking for a GUI then you'll need to choose one of the Desktop Experience options during the installation
