After downloading a file and running it as administrator, I found that my files are cut, such as my TEMP folder. I tried opening up simple apps such as Steam and now it comes up with:
"Your organization used Windows Defender Application Control to block this app".

  • Please note that I cannot deactivate my real-time protection (because it says I need administrator; even though I have it already).
  • I cannot system reset my PC and I have wasted 5+ hours just for it to encounter a problem.
  • It also says that my PC has a bad image and I have no files to restore it when I go into advanced startup settings.
  • I am also on Windows 10 Pro
    Please help. ASAP.

    Hello Thuong Nguyen,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Please try to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS settings and check if it helps. Here’s how:

    1. Restart your computer and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F2, F10, Delete, or Esc during startup).
    2. Navigate to the Security or Boot menu.
    3. Find the Secure Boot option and disable it.
    4. Save the changes and exit the BIOS

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
