How we check/confirm whether windows license is preloaded on provided OEM's machine or not? Pl suggest.

Hi!!

We are PSU of Indian State and recently purchase computer desktop of an OEM through its reseller. As per bid terms & conditions the desktop machine should have windows 11 preloaded license. Please suggest how we check/confirm whether windows license is preloaded on provided OEM's machine or not?

    To check if the Windows 11 license is preloaded on your OEM machine, you can follow these steps:

    Command Prompt Method: Open Command Prompt as an administrator and enter the following command:

    wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey

    This command will display the OEM product key if it is preloaded on your machine.

    Registry Editor Method: Open the Run dialog box by pressing Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter. Navigate to:

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

    Look for the BackupProductKeyDefault value on the right pane. This is your product key number.

    These methods should help you confirm whether the Windows 11 license is preloaded on your OEM machine.
