I just setup the following server:

Size Standard B1s

vCPUs 1

RAM 1 GiB

MicrosoftWindowsServer

2022-datacenter-azure-e

Is slow and gets disconnected.

Probably as this is my first experience with Azure I set it up wrong.

Please advise what setup you will recomend.

Thanks,

Norbert

    Hello,

Based on your description, your current Windows Server configuration (1 vCPU, 1 GiB RAM) may not be sufficient to meet the performance needs of the Windows Server 2022 environment. The standard B1s size with 1 vCPU and 1 GiB RAM is one of the smallest and most basic configurations available on Azure, and it is usually suitable for very lightweight workloads. It is recommended that you adjust the configuration to at least 2 vCPU and 4 GiB RAM. The specific steps are as follows:

    1.Go to the Azure portal.

    2.Navigate to your Virtual Machine.

    3.Click on "Size" under "Settings."

4.Choose a new size and click "Resize."

By upgrading to a larger VM size, you should see improved performance and fewer disconnections. If you find that performance is still not meeting your needs, you can always further adjust the size or configuration based on the specific load and demands of your applications and services.

    Best Regards,

    Yanhong Liu
