network priority don't work I prefer Wifi over lan connection

I have gone to network setting ,advance setting, I set my wifi as no.1 as interface metric, my lan connection on.9. but it is not taking the change.

    Hello,

    Based on your description, please try to change the priority of the network adapter directly in the control panel:

       - Open the Control Panel.

       - Go to "Network and Sharing Center."

       - Select "Change adapter settings" on the left side.

       - Press the Alt key to bring up the menu bar.

       - Select "Advanced" and then "Advanced Settings."

       - In the "Adapters and Bindings" tab, arrange the order of your network connections by moving WiFi above LAN.
