Hello Microsoft Learn Team,

I am seeking clarification regarding the publishing requirements for bots in Microsoft Teams, specifically concerning one-way communication bots. We have developed a bot designed solely for sending notifications to users without any user interaction.

Upon submitting our bot to the Microsoft Teams Store, we received the following error: "The bot is not responding to command Hi." This raises a question regarding the necessity for a one-way bot to respond to user commands.

Given that our bot is explicitly designed for one-way communication and does not engage in a two-way conversation or handle user commands, I would like to understand why the bot is required to respond to user input during the publishing process.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

The post you have referred suggests enabling isNotificationOnly we have enabled the same and the input box is also disabled however we are still getting the error mentioned in question, we are getting the error while testing the app in developer portal.

What I believe is Microsoft is still able to send the command to the bot somehow.

Kindly see the below screenshot of my app manifest and advise accordingly.
