Issue Installing and Using Tape Drive for Backups in DPM 2016

I am trying to install an HPE 1/8 G2 Autoloader to use for tape backups with Microsoft DPM 2016. I installed 8 blank tapes into the tape drives and DPM is seeing the tapes the status is "Tape Available", tape label "Unknown", barcode is showing correctly. When I right-click the tape to "identify unknown tape" I receive an error message stating "DPM could not reserve the drive resource because one of required drive resources is not online or it needs cleaning or servicing." I have also ran the DPMLibraryTest tool and have found that the test is failing on DPM Mount/Dismount because "the indicated destination element already contains media." and it is also failing on the Read/Write test for the same reason stated for the Mount/Dismount test. Could someone in here please point me in the right path on how to troubleshoot this?

Update: I just resolved this for us.

So DPM 2022 could see the G3 Autoloader Library and could see the barcodes, plus move a tape in and out of mail slot (I/E port), but could not do full inventory, read or write to tape.

In DPM > Management > Libraries, 1 library showed and 0 drives.

In Device Manager the Tape Library was listed correctly, but the tape drives (HPE LTO7) showed under 'other devices'. Windows update did not find driver, so I downloaded the LTO7 driver from HPE site and then updated in Device manager.

After a refresh DPM could see the drives and it works fine now.
