Unable to create SQL Server Graph Connector

Question

I am trying to setup a Graph connector to a SQL server database and cannot get past a "is null or empty." error that displays on the Incremental crawl (optional) step of the setup. Connections, data, column selections work correctly on the Full crawl/Incremental crawl screen. The error occurs after proceeding from the Incremental Crawl screen and happens regardless of if incremental crawl data is populated. The full message is a red "X" followed by " is null or empty.
