How to Implement Azure Cache with Replicas for Data Integrity

I am seeking a solution for Azure Cache that ensures data integrity. I have noticed that Azure Cache Enterprise offers strong eventual consistency; however, this is insufficient for my needs.

The scenario involves using two Azure caches where all clients would read and write from one node (the primary), while the secondary remains continuously synced. Although Azure Cache Premium tier appears to be one option, it seems that automatic failover to the secondary node is not supported when the primary node goes down. Is there a version of Azure Cache that provides automatic switching to the secondary in case of primary node failure?

Based on the information you provided, it seems like you are looking for a version of Azure Cache that provides automatic switching to the secondary node in case of primary node failure.

Azure Cache for Redis Premium and Enterprise tiers provide built-in redundancy by hosting each cache on two dedicated virtual machines (VMs). In the event of a primary node failure, the secondary node can be promoted to primary, but this process is not automatic. You would need to manually initiate the failover process.

However, Azure Cache for Redis also supports zone redundancy in its Premium and Enterprise tiers. A zone-redundant cache runs on VMs spread across multiple Availability Zones. It provides higher resilience and availability. When a zone goes down, cache nodes in other zones are available to keep the cache functioning as usual.

The Standard, Premium and Enterprise tiers of Azure Cache for Redis all provide data replication with eventual consistency and automatic failover in case of primary node failures. These tiers have replication and high availability by default and no customer action is needed in case of primary node failure.

Are you referring to to replication/redundancy within a single cache or across multiple caches (geo replication)? Failover of primary nodes within a single cache is always automatic. However, failover between different caches in a geo replicated set of caches is not automatic.
