Can't start the Workstation service.

The Computer Browser service is not listed as a service. The Workstation service will not start because it lists the Browser service as a dependency.

How do I remove the Browser service from the list of dependencies of the Workstation service.

    Hi @Veronica Schiefer ,

    The Browser service is part of the old SMB V1.0 file sharing system, If it is disabled, you will not see it.

    SMBv1 it's not more secure and it's not recommended to use/enable it.

    Hi,

    What's your system build?
    I noticed my test device with Windows 10 version 2004 system has not Computer Browser service just like yours. But it not make any affection on enable workstation service.

    How did you enable Workstation services? Manfully from Service panel or command line?
    Any error occur or what's the behavior when try to start workstation service?
    What's the type of your system login account, a domain administrator account, a domain account, local administrator account or local standard account?
