Hello @udi kiany There is no clean solution for connecting the VB6 IDE to TFS and version control is moving towards Git/GitHub which does not integrate into the older VB6 IDE but you can use GitHub Desktop . GitHub is a distributed source control which for 99 percent of the time is better than source safe.

I don't think source control is moving towards GitHub in the work or job environment. They would much rather have a code repository solution that offer solutions that are customizable to their work environment that run on a dedicated code repository server within the organization. There are several code repository solutions like TFS that work in conjunction with maintenance triage solutions within an organization to help management make decisions on what needs to be addressed.

GitHub desktop does not integrate directly into VB6 IDE. Instead create a GitHub repository (can be private or public), follow these steps for first time. Open Git Desktop, clone the repository via file menu. Make code changes, in VB6 IDE. Open Git desktop, note your changes are shown, below add a comment and select "Commit to master" while if there are more than one branch select the branch first.

Note that Git Desktop can work with VS Code also but not VB6 IDE.
