How does CustomSettings.ini work during MDT process

I want to know how CustomSettings.ini works during the MDT process. Can you explain it in detail or give me a guide to learn more?

General speaking, the CustomSettings.ini is a rules file processed by ZTIGather.wsf after the Welcome screen and at various points during the Task Sequence. The CustomSettings.ini contains instructions to perform specific actions and set various parameters in MDT.
