Applying patches on VM Images

I have a few VM Images. And I need to apply update patches for them.

Is there the best practice for apply patches for VM images?

    @Kubataly UsubalievI recommend utilizing Azure Update Manager. It allows you to check for updates, install updates, schedule updates, and perform periodic assessments to validate if the VMs are supported for guest patching. Another alternative is Azure Image Builder.
