no audio call via telephone handset button in teams contacts possible

Hi,

can someone explain me please why the telephone handset button in the Teams Contacts is greyed out?

It works again after a teams reboot.

Have also replicated this with one of our users. This is only happening on one of their three teams enabled devices mind you. Restarting teams, signing out/in, deleting appdata cache, none of that seems to rectify it.

Completely uninstalling and reinstalling teams did seem to fix this issue, but two weeks later it has reoccurred for this user.

If you can fix this problem by restarting Teams, this may be caused by a temporary problem.

To better avoid this problem, please update Teams to the latest version.

Please also clear the Teams desktop cache:

the problem persists even after deleting the teams cache.
