I work at Mintwave which is a thin client vendor. We want to have our Linux based Thin Client device certified for AVD and make it available on the AVD thin client website.

Where can I find tools and thin client device development kit? What kind of Microsoft partner program do I need to join for the device certification?

We recommend all the thin client vendors to reach out via your Microsoft Partner/Account team. Looking at your website, we see you offer your devices with Windows 10 IoT enterprise and proprietary Linux flavor. The Windows-based devices should be ready today to connect to AVD/W365 using Windows App or MSRDC.

Hi Prrudram,

Thank you for your answer. You are correct. Mintwave offers Windows IoT based thin client device for AVD customers in Japan. We want to build a Linux based thin client device which can be connected to AVD because some customers in Japan prefer Linux based thin clients. I believe that Microsoft provides Linux based thin client vendors with development tools and software to build the device for ADV. You recommended to talk to Microsoft partner team, but there is no AVD team in Japan. Any chance to work with Microsoft partner team in the US? Your suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for sharing the details. I don't think there are specific AVD partner teams, you can connect with any of the Microsoft Partner teams or account teams who can direct you further for this kind of requests.
