Azure postgresql flexible instance is under maintenance for prolonged period, now over 18 hours already.
I tried to contact support but that need a per-case charged support, genius microsoft, a clever way to earn more money...

Hi Kenneth Shum,
Are you saying the server has been in a restarting state for over 18 hours? If so, it may not be due to maintenance but possibly a backend infrastructure issue.
Do you see any health events? A portal screenshot or any additional details would be helpful.

Yes, i can see the health status, says is undergoing a planned maintenance. It's hard to believe the maintenance is still in progress for more than 2 days already.

To check CPU utilization for Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server, you can use the Azure portal
Check CPU utilization using the Azure portal:
Go to the Azure portal and navigate to your Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server instance.
Click on the 'Metrics' tab in the left-hand menu.
Select 'CPU usage' from the list of available metrics.
Choose the time range for which you want to view the CPU utilization data.
Review the graph to see the CPU utilization over time.
Check the status of server using Azure CLI:
Open a command prompt or terminal window.
Log in to your Azure account using the 'az login' command.
Run the following command to check the status of your PostgreSQL server:
az postgres flexible-server show --resource-group <resource-group-name> --name <server-name>

The CPU is kept at 20% in the last three days.
and the server is in ready state
But the database is inaccessible, and still stuck in "under maintenance mode"
