Hello,

I have a question.

I have a "Microsoft 365 Apps for Faculty" license.

However, this license is about to expire.

I wonder if this license is paid for or is included in some package?

That means you're using MS 365 for Education. This program is for educational institutions only that are vetted by MS and have signed up for the program. If your institution has an active subscription for this then your license is fine, you might just need to update it using the Update License button in Office.

However if you are no longer a member of that institution or the institution has not renewed their membership in the program then when the subscription ends so will your license. You would then need to purchase your own license for MS 365, not as an educational institution. You should contact your institution's IT team and they should be able to help you as they would be responsible for setting this up.
