I am doing the self-paced Microsoft Defender for Office course and there is a lab I need to do but when I use my log in from Microsoft it says I am not authorized to access the system. I cannot do the lab if I do not have access and the program does not give me any log in credentials.

This is the lab:

    Hi Jennifer Martinez,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

You're encountering access issues with the lab environment in your self-paced Microsoft Defender for Office course.
Here are a few steps to resolve the "not authorized" error:

    1. Make sure you're signed in with the correct Microsoft account that has the needed permissions to access the lab. If you're using a work / school account, ensure it has the required security roles, like Global Admin / Security Admin.
    2. Clear your browser cache to remove any stored data that could cause access issues.
    3. Try accessing the lab from an incognito / private browsing window to bypass cached data and cookies.
    4. Alternatively, switch to a different browser (e.g., Edge, Chrome, Firefox) to see if the issue persists.
    5. If you're on a corporate or institutional network, network restrictions or firewalls might be causing access issues. Talk to your network administrator to ensure that you have the necessary access permissions.

We have followed the instructions as provided in the lab, and we haven’t faced any issues until now.
