Hi @Kopsco, Joan , by default, only site owners and members with the "Full Control" permission level can share files with external users.
If a member of the Teams site is not able to share a document with a person outside the organization, it is likely that they do not have the necessary permissions to do so. As the site owner, you have the "Full Control" permission level by default, which allows you to share files with external users.
To allow members of the Teams site to share files with external users, you can modify the external sharing settings in SharePoint. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to the SharePoint site that is associated with the Teams site.
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "Site settings".
- Under the "Site Collection Administration" section, click on "External sharing".
- Choose the appropriate external sharing option for your organization. For example, you can choose to allow sharing with external users who sign in with a Microsoft account or allow sharing with anyone, including anonymous users.
- Click "Save" to apply the changes.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I can help you further.
