    Hello,

    Check Device Manager:

Ensure that the USB fax modem is listed under "Modems" in Device Manager and that there are no warning symbols (like a yellow triangle) indicating a problem with the device.

    Install/Update Drivers:

Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your USB fax modem. You can usually download these from the manufacturer's website.

    Configure Windows Fax and Scan:

Open Windows Fax and Scan from the Start menu.

Go to Tools > Fax Settings.

Under the General tab, ensure that your modem is selected under Device name.

    Enable Fax Feature in Windows:

    Open Control Panel.

Go to "Programs" or "Programs and Features."

Click on "Turn Windows features on or off."

Ensure that "Windows Fax and Scan" is checked. If not, check the box and click OK to enable it.

    Best Regards,

    Hania
