I ran w32tm /monitor, I have 4 DC.....for the life of me can't get group policy and the server time

Warning: SUM22RAD19 is not advertising as a time server.

     ......................... SUM22RAD19 failed test Advertising

ERROR TO GO AWAY...Any help is appreciated.

I ran Repadmin /replsummary - the sysvols between all dc works fine.

Beginning data collection for replication summary, this may take awhile:

    Hi,

Time synchronization in a mono-domain forest should follow this hierarchy :

    • PDC Emulator (PDCe) synchronize with an external source
    • Other domain controller synchronize with the PDCe

So to troubleshoot your issue, you should identity your PDCe with this command on a domain controller:

    netdom query fsmo

After that on your PDCe check the configuration with this command:

    w32tm /query /configuration

You should have something like below (NTP indicate the PDCe is using an external source)User's image On the other domain controller you should have something below:

    User's image

After that check the configuration of the domain controllers on the DNS side to be sure that they register their records (Normally it should not be an issue because your replication is working)

If you need help to configure the PDCe for time synchronization you can use this article:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/services-hub/microsoft-engage-center/health/remediation-steps-ad/configure-the-root-pdc-with-an-authoritative-time-source-and-avoid-widespread-time-skew?source=recommendations

    Regards,
