Bitlocker - Cannot Set Start Up PIN - Command Prompt Won't take Input

I am trying to set up a requirement for an additional authentication at start up using bitlocker.

I have modified the group policy to require additional authentication as required. However, when I then go to the command prompt to set the pin required at start up, it will let me get as far as running manage-bde -protectors -add c: -TPMAndPIN then it won't actually let me put in anything. It refuses to accept keyboard input. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

    Hi,

Thank for your detailed description of the issue and the screenshot you provided.

It might have taken your input but remain blank by default. So you can try to enter the password and press enter. Here is a link posted by Darin who had a similar question Cmd Prompt not detecting keyboard input

If this is not the reason why cmd won't take input, please let me know.
