Problem in LINUX for Copilot icon and Sidebar not working

Hi, since version 129 Copiloto does not open, and the sidebar is empty and I cannot attach any app to it. Can someone help me with this problem? I have seen people complaining about the same thing on other forums. Thank you in advance.

I’ve encountered the issue with Microsoft Edge version 130.0.2849.56-1 on Linux where the Copilot sidebar does not function correctly. This problem has been reported on several forums, and I wanted to share my observations and a temporary workaround.

Steps to Reproduce:

Install Microsoft Edge version 130.0.2849.56-1 on a fresh Fedora 41 Linux system.

Create a new account and attempt to use the Copilot sidebar.

Observe that the Copilot sidebar does not work.

Workaround:

Uninstall version 130 and clean .config files

Install/Downgrade to Microsoft Edge version 127.

Create a new account in version 127.

Everything works

Upgrade to version 130.0.2849.56-1.

The Copilot sidebar works correctly if the account was created in version 127 and then upgraded.

I hope this information helps in diagnosing and resolving the issue. If anyone has found a permanent fix or has additional insights, please share.
