Desktop Background Not Syncing Over Azure VPN for AD Users

Hello everyone,

I have an on-premises Active Directory hosted in my local environment, which is synced with an Active Directory hosted on Azure. Our AD setup has multiple OUs, and we have planned separate OUs and group policies for different regions: one for India users and another for US users.

The issue we are facing is that after connecting to the Azure VPN, the desktop background does not sync for the local systems. However, the background is being reflected correctly when using Remote Desktop Connection to access the Azure servers.

I've already checked the wallpaper folder permissions, and they are set to full control for both authenticated users as well as domain users and computers.

Any assistance or guidance on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
