Several down times in Azure linux web apps

Hello,

Since yesterday, We are experiencing a service interruption on our Azure Web Apps where the platform has reached high resource usage levels, even though no significant activity was conducted on the platform. This unexpected behavior is causing performance degradation and interruptions to the availability of the web apps.

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.
Go to Azure Portal Your Web App Check "Metrics" under Monitoring
Check the last few hours of activity for your web app.
1.CPU Usage
2. Memory Usage
3. HTTP Request patterns
4. Restart the web app if necessary.

Check the application logs for errors.

Look for any unusual traffic patterns.

Review of recent code deployments.

Temporarily scale up or out if needed.

Check and adjust auto-scale rules.

Set up alerts for resource usage.

Implement rate limiting.

Monitor performance regularly.

Hello, thanks for getting back, yes I know that the issue is coming from a memory swap that makes cpu to spike, but I don't know why there is a memory usage while there is no activity on the webapp.
