Getting "You can't sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead."
Hi everyone,
I’ve enabled B2B Entra integration on my tenant and have shared a file from SharePoint with an external user. After sharing, I can see that the user is added to my tenant as expected. However, when that user tries to log in at https://login.microsoftonline.com/, they receive the following error:
"You can't sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead."
I’ve reviewed the External Identities > External collaboration settings in Azure AD, and the configuration appears to be set to the most inclusive options:
- Guest user access: Guest users have the same access as members (most inclusive)
- Collaboration restrictions: Allow invitations to be sent to any domain (most inclusive)
I can't seem to find any other settings that might be blocking personal accounts from accessing the tenant. How can I allow personal Microsoft accounts (MSA) to log into my tenant as well?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
