How do I move SharePoint (Microsoft) Lists?

Question

This is a simple question. I created a list in one location and I want to move it to another. When I logged on to sharepoint, I was unaware that it would direct me to a personal area (my username is wthompson on the system). The list I created does not exist on a joint and shared company area. How do I move my list the the proper and expected location?

As a visual aid in understanding my issue, I have done a screen capture of the url's of the two locations albeit with the company names obscured with visual pixel noise.

Currently there is no such function to move a list to another site directly. You can create a list from an existing list in SharePoint Online. Check the documentation at:

When you do this, the entire list structure is copied, including views, formatting, and columns. However, the actual content of the original list isn't be copied.
