Confirm your current problem: A BitLocker error is displayed when Windows 11 is updated. Have you configured the BitLocker recovery password before?
Use the system file check tool (SFC) to repair system files.
- Run the command prompt (administrator), enter the following command and press Enter:
sfc /scannow
- Wait for the scan to complete and restart the computer.
You can try turning off BitLocker and then retesting the Windows update:
- Open Control Panel and choose System and Security. 2.
- Click "BitLocker Drive Encryption".
- Next to the drive where BitLocker is set, click "Pause Protection".
