Clear Steam's download cache: Steam > Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache

    Update Network Driver.

Right-click your WiFi adapter and select Properties.

Go to the Power Management tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Open Command Prompt as Admin and copy-paste the following commands:

    ipconfig /flushdns

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh winsock reset

    If required Reset the Router.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Here are a few additional steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check for Bandwidth Congestion:

Ensure no other devices are using a lot of bandwidth (e.g., streaming videos or downloading large files). This can cause temporary disconnections when launching Steam games.

    1. Update Network Drivers:

Make sure your network drivers are up to date. Visit the manufacturer's website to download the latest drivers for your network adapter.

    1. Check Router Settings:

Ensure your router settings and firewall configurations are not blocking Steam or its games. You might need to temporarily disable your firewall to see if that resolves the issue.

    1. Run Network Troubleshooter:

Use the built-in network troubleshooter in Windows to identify and fix any network-related issues.

    1. Switch WiFi Bands:

If you're using a dual-band router, try switching between 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands to see if one works better for Steam.

    1. Clear Steam Cache:

Open Steam, go to Steam > Settings > Downloads and click on Clear Download Cache.

    1. Verify Game Files:

Right-click on the game in your Steam library, select Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files.

    1. Use Ethernet Connection:

If possible, try using a wired Ethernet connection instead of WiFi to see if that resolves the issue

If the problem persists, it might be worth reaching out to Steam Support for further assistance.

    Best regards

    Yanhong
