Can I renew my Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certificate for free after the expiration date?

Hi, my PowerBI Data Analyst Associate Certificate expired on 19th Oct 2024. Since we are still in the month of Oct, can I renew my certificate without the need to earn this certification again?

The policy is you have to pass the exam again if the certification has expired. Below is link to expiration policy:
