Too much data in PowerQuery can cause Excel to freeze

Import data from an Excel workbook through Power Query, but the data is quite large, with approximately 3000+rows. Importing is normal, but when loaded into Excel, it can cause Excel to freeze.

I have created a simple example and this issue will not occur.

There are no other large files to test whether it only occurs in Excel.

Try opening files containing big data Workbook directly without any issues.

Do you have any suggestions that can help solve this problem?

    Hi,

Where did you save the file?

Did 2 Workbooks in the same folder?

Did the source Workbook contain any links or formulas?

I suggest you go to File- Options- Advanced- uncheck "Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration".

I also suggest you try to re-save the source Workbook as .xls file, then import through Power Query again.

Please provide more information about your problem, I'm glad to help you.
