This command requires at least two rows of source data. you cannot use the command on a selection in only one row. try the following:

If you are using an advance filter, select a range of cells that contains at least two rows of data. then click the advanced filter command again.

If you are creating a Pivot Table report or PivotChart, type a cell

There is no C# code mentioned here. This sounds like an error in Office or a similar app. Based upon your error code and the debug help stuff this looks like a macro running in an Office app.

Please provide us the steps to follow to replicate your problem including the app(s) you're using. It sounds like you're trying to use a pivot table/chart but the data you're providing isn't in a format that it requires. It requires at least 2 rows.

You have not provided us any information to work with. You haven't even told us the app that you're getting the error in (e.g. Word, Access, Excel, etc). You tagged this question as C# but this is not a C# question. We have no context as to what you're doing. The more information you provide us the faster this can be resolved.

What application are you using?

Assuming you have a Pivot table/chart(?) then provide information on the data it is trying to render.

Confirm that the data that it is rendering is correct and show us a sample of the data results.

Provide the table/chart configuration settings so we know what column(s)/row(s) you're trying to render.

At this point the only thing clear is that the data you're trying to show on the chart/table isn't sufficient. It could be a bad connection to your data or a misconfiguration of the table/chart. Without more information we have no way of knowing which.

The forums do not support directly connecting with someone. If you need that kind of support then you'll need to reach out to MS Support directly. If you have a support contract with them then it'll likely get covered otherwise you'll have to pay.

In Excel look at the properties for your pivot table. It has a property that provides it the data it needs to render. The error says this query is returning back a single row of data. But the table requires at least 2 rows of data, hence the error. Provide us the query you're using to populate the table along with the results that it is returning. Either your data is bad or the query is filtering out too much stuff.
