Trusted Signing identity validation fails for company with name change

I have been attempting to validate my company's identity with the Azure Trusted Signing service. Each attempt has failed with no reason given. My company underwent a name change since inception, so, presumably, that is the issue, but I see no way to provide the appropriate documentation to support this. Does Trusted Signing support identity validation for companies that have undergone a name change?
