Not all data fields from excel uploading to MS Project via the import wizard.

I'm trying to upload a simple excel sheet to project via the import wizard.

I have two issues;

Task Name does not show up when mapping to project on the wizard
I have 2 columns/rows to upload - task name and duration, however only the duration will import. Why?

What am I missing?

Please make sure the workbook and sheet tab name are less than 11 characters in length and no spaces.

HI,

The task names are still missing. This also does not explain why the task name field is missing on the ms project drop down

Could you please show us some screenshots of your Excel workbook and data fields in wizard?

Please also tell us which version of Project are you using? To get this information, please go to File > Account > Product Information.
