Adding storage to SharePoint Online

What is the most common way to add storage to SharePoint? We've had our 365 tenant online for a few years now, and when we started needing to add SharePoint storage our licensing vendor told us that the way to do it was to add it 1GB at a time through their licensing portal. Originally this was done as an add-on for 365 E5 licenses but has recently become its own licensing line item.

Their licensing interface is kind of clunky though, and I can't just modify the number; I have to click the up button to increment it by one. This is tedious if I need to add 300-400GB. I'm engaging with them to look at the interface, but I was wondering if there's a different way to do this or if the "how" is going to vary depending on who your licensing partner is. We need to add a large amount of storage for the next stage of our data migration and I really don't want to click a button 2000 times. Thanks!

Not sure what kind of page the vendor provides you with for purchasing storage space, but according to Microsoft's official guide to purchasing storage, we are able to enter the amount of storage directly.
