New-MgInvitation : Invitations are blocked for this directory due to suspicious activity

Hello community,

Today, we have tried to bulk invite 5000 guest users to one of our tenants using a simple PowerShell command. After inviting 61 users, it blocked all further invitations due to "suspicious actvitiy".

I have seen in a very similar question that someone had this problem before. Is it possible to unblock it ourselves or is this up to Microsoft Support?

Thanks in Advance

Vincent

You may be able to unblock using these steps:

If not, then a ticket to support is required.
