How to enable savings plan

Hello,

When we create VM's, I noticed that "Azure Sponsorship" Subscription does not allow Savings Plan. The note is "Azure savings plan is only available for subscriptions under EA, MCA and MPA agreement types".

The thing is, we are creating VMs for periods longer than a year and would like to keep them once the subscription expires next year. Is there a workaround to activate savings plan. If not, will we be able to convert this subscription into a suitable plan for savings plan to keep the servers the same without any migration planned?

    Hi Erhan,

    When appropriate you should be able to convert to Pay-As-You-Go which will allow you to purchase Savings Plan. Please see "Term & Conversion to Paid Account" section of below article:
