I am at a total loss of what to do.

i got a new phone and have been unable to access my work email ever since because i cannot access Microsoft Authenticator.

-I need a 2FA to access my email account.

-I need to access my email account to do whatever needs to be done to access Microsoft Authenticator.

-Microsoft Authenticator is asking me for codes within itself and I have no idea where those might be.

This seems to be where I can ask for help, but what I really need is someone to give me step by step instructions to solve this problem so I can access my email account again.

Yes, I have spoken to our Administrator and this is where I was told to go.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

    Hello Adair Flowers

    Thanks for your question.

You need to backup your credentials in authenticator, if this was not done unfortunately you can only resolve this by contacting support or asking your admins/support to reset your account https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/xandr/curate/troubleshooting-multi-factor-authentication-mfa?source=recommendations

Contact your admin and show him this, as this is where he can reprompt you for MFA

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/authentication/howto-mfa-userdevicesettings#manage-user-authentication-options

For non microsoft managed apps, will need to contact the support teams of the applications on your MFA to assist you in resetting your credentials.

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

    Regards,

    Abiola
