Customizing SharePoint List Board View to Remove Empty Buckets

Hi all,

Is it possible to customize the board view of a SharePoint list and remove empty buckets from the display? If so, what steps can be taken to achieve this?

As PRADEEPCHEEKATLA said, it's the designed behavior and we are afraid that the option to remove empty buckets from board view is not available in the SharePoint at present.

Meanwhile, to get this option in the SharePoint, I recommend you give suggestion in the feedback portal. Many features of current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. Thanks for your understanding and support.

@sharepointuser-5603 - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

The board view is organized by a column, and empty buckets of board view are generated by values of this column. It's by designed, there is no option to remove it.

You could submit your suggestion in the feedback portal.

Workaround : You can remove this empty buckets by removing this value from the column choice! but you will loose this choice
