Issue with Default Search Engine Change in Microsoft Edge

I am reaching out regarding an issue I encountered with my Microsoft Edge browser. Recently, my default search engine unexpectedly changed to Yandex without any action or setting modification on my part. I have thoroughly checked my browser extensions, system applications, and even tried resetting the browser settings, but the problem persists. Additionally, I performed a full malware scan to rule out potential interference, yet I couldn’t identify the cause.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance from the Microsoft Edge support team to help resolve this issue or determine if there are any recommended solutions. Furthermore, I would like a reasonable explanation as to why my search engine was changed to Yandex, despite no action or modification from my side.

Which version of Edge do you use? You could try the following steps to change the default search engine:

1. Open this page edge://settings/search in Edge and change the search engine in Search engine used in the address bar option.
2. You can also click Manage search engines and remove Yandex search engine if you don't need it.
