I've used android for many years. With my latest couple of handsets, and since it's become chromium-based, I exclusively used edge as a browser. I have also used authenticator for storing and generating passwords, payment details, etc.

I've noticed though, over the years, that sometimes the following over

  • When offering to create a new password, it will sometimes offer this in edge and sometimes authenticator. It will then die the credentials in the respective location.

Same as above when retrieving passwords: it offered to populate from edge OR authenticator.

Both of these occur with no consistency and having changed no settings etc. Anyone know how to solve the following

How do I merge both locations?

Where duplicate site+username combos exist but passwords have been changed, call these out

Ensure authenticator is treated as gospel truth moving forward?
