Het is mij niet geheel duidelijk wat net bedoeld word met onderstaande mail, en wat hiervan de gevolgen zijn voor onze email, microsoft 365 and sharepoint.

I have just purchased a new microsoft 365 licence, does this count as the purchase?

Otherwise I do not need to make any purchases at this moment, so my tenant will become inactive.

What is the function of this tenant ID, and what will change if it is inactivated?

I Understand that you have just purchased a new Microsoft 365 license, this should count as a purchase and should keep your account active.

The tenant ID is a unique identifier for your Microsoft Entra ID instance within your Azure subscription. If your tenant is inactivated, you will not be able to access any of the services associated with your Azure AD instance, including email, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.

So if i understand correctly, i need to make a purchase every year to keep this active.

Are the yearly payments of our microsoft 365 licences not enough to keep this active?

It feels a bit ridiculous to buy something we do not need in order to keep this active.

I got this message: "This subscription is currently inactive. Please take advantage of your free trial subscription to develop solutions for Microsoft 365." and I want to reactivate my subscription by following the steps in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/commerce/subscriptions/reactivate-your-subscription?view=o365-worldwide#reactivate-your-subscription-in-the-microsoft-365-admin-center, but failed. Can someone please explain to me why I got the notification that I need to purchase something before 3 June 2025 or my tenancy will get deactivated when I am part of a Microsoft 360 family plan. The plan is paid for each month and therefore active each month.
