How to delete microsoft account

Hello,

I contact microsoft support to delete my account because the normal procedure to do that

"You need to leave your work organization Before we can take any action, you must leave your work organization. After you cancel your active subscriptions, you should return to this page to complete the account closure process. Go to my work organization".

So the microsoft assistant send me here and say to ask to community how to delete my account. I never use Azure and I don't even know what it is.

Hope someone can help me.

Looks like you are part of an organization. To remove and leave, follow the steps here:

To cancel the subscription please follow the steps here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/cancel-azure-subscription?source=recommendations

1. In the Azure portal, go to "Cost Management + Billing."
2. In the left menu, select "Subscriptions" and choose the subscription you want to cancel.
3. At the top of the subscription page, select "Cancel."
4. Select a reason for cancellation and, if applicable, turn off auto-renew for any support plans.
5. If there are running resources, turn them off. Then select "Cancel subscription" to finalize.

Pls note you require Owner RBAC on subscription scope to perform this action.
