To block sharing for this specific SharePoint site

Please i need your help on this issue.

We created a security group and added users to it with restricted view permissions. While the users are unable to download the files but they still see the option to share them.

How can i block sharing for this specific SharePoint site to prevent users from sharing the files?

To block sharing for a specific SharePoint site, you can configure the site permissions to restrict sharing. Here are the steps to do this:

1. In the SharePoint site, select the gear icon, and then select Site permissions.
2. Under Sharing settings, select Change how members can share.
3. Choose the option that allows only site owners to share files, folders, and the site.
4. Select Save.
